COVID-19 has shown me that Americans, by and large, have grown a little too used to the privilege we have enjoyed versus the rest of the world.

We are led by a intellectually lazy and grotesque man, and the narrative he spins for us is so craven and opportunistic, so dismissive and ignorant of the facts on the ground, that it seems a foregone conclusion that if we follow that train of thought it will take us right off a cliff. But, somehow, his narrative has enthralled around 45% percent of the country.

That's the beginning of the end of Pax Americana. We will miss it when its gone.
