As a teacher who works at a restaurant, COVID-19 changed my whole world. After a month of unemployment, I was hired as a full-time essential worker processing online orders overnight.
I’ve used this time to get crafty. I’ve made 230 masks that have been sent to 8 different states. I have also gotten away from masks and made a bunch of tote bags. I will be opening my own little sewing business as soon as things calm down.
I am worried about people’s lack of compassion for others that I have seen recently.
This has been a time of self exploration and introspection. I’ve learned that I am very resilient. I am in a place of growth and I have a positive projections for my future.
